From processing used surgical instruments for dispatch to receiving sterile surgical equipment and supporting our friendly theatre team youll make sure everything runs smoothly.As an HSSU Coordinator you will:Move and handle trays and items of various weights and sizesMaintain accurate records and keep documentation up to dateDispose of contaminated waste in accordance with hospital policyRegularly check that our equipment is in good working order and all faults are reportedMaintain a clean and tidy working environmentTake action to rectify any problems and escalating issues where necessaryHelping you feel good.We want you to love coming to work feeling healthy happy and valued. The hospital has two laminar flow operating theatres and two minor treatment rooms in the outpatient department. There is a small radiology department and CT/ MRI services are provided in a mobile unit. Inpatient physiotherapy is provided within the hospital whilst our outpatients attend the fitness and wellbeing centre at Chichester gate for their follow up physio and hydrotherapy treatments.Our main speciality is orthopaedics. We also care for patients needing treatment within the specialties of gynaecology urology general surgery plastic surgery ophthalmology max fax and pain.
