A well-established law firm in York, renowned for their commitment to providing exceptional legal services to their clients is seeking a Private Client Solicitor due to an increase in new work. The team is dedicated to delivering tailored, compassionate, and professional advice across all areas of private client work.

Currently seeking an experienced and motivated Private Client Solicitor to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload with a particular focus on wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney, estate planning, and trusts.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on all aspects of wills and estate planning
  • Administering estates and managing probate processes
  • Drafting and managing lasting powers of attorney
  • Advising on and setting up trusts
  • Providing comprehensive tax planning advice
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE in Private Client law
  • Strong experience in dealing with wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney, estate planning, and trusts
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
