About the Role: Reporting to the Lead Project Developer, you will have good AutoCAD software knowledge enabling you to complete 2D site designs considering a variety of situational factors.

Drawings required will include site layouts, drawings for submission of planning and a selection of other site-specific plans.


Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of and ability to use AutoCAD software
  • Great time management and communication skills essential
  • Prioritise workload depending on a variety of factors.
  • Have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
  • The role will see the applicant assist the Development team, providing initial site layout’s through to construction drawings.
  • Revise and update existing drawings to reflect changes in design, scope, or standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings.
  • Research and recommend new processes and improvements to aid design and project development.
  • Ensuring site designs are proposed and completed to the highest standards.
  • Follow company policies and safety regulations for operational efficiency.


Skills required:

  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in producing technical drawings.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, great time management, able to work under-pressure
  • Have good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Word, Excel, Share point and OneDrive and the ability to pick up knowledge on different systems.
  • Great administration skills to allow for tracking of site progress and information sharing.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about design issues.


The role is office based, 8.30am to 5pm with some flexibility. Salary 26k – 29k pa.
