As Account Manager, the successful candidate will be expected to manage a portfolio of retail clients by providing strategic direction independently and managing the end-to-end process of delivering high quality Paid Media campaigns across multiple networks.

Our Paid Media team manage campaigns across Google, Bing, META, Pinterest & TikTok Tok and we focus on shopping activity as a specialty.

 

Job Overview/ Duties

As PPC Account Manager, the successful candidate will be expected to setup and undertake ongoing optimisation of paid media campaigns against clear ROI targets for each client.


This is a hands-on role managing a diverse set of clients across multiple sectors, so knowledge sharing is essential. You will be asked to share your expertise through training sessions, blogs and articles.


Client Management:

  • Understand the clients business and develop a paid media strategy to align with their goals which is updated regularly and communicated with senior leadership teams both internally and externally.
  • Confidently develop annual forecasts, suggesting platforms spending and forecasting revenue considering client KPIs.
  • Communicate KPIs and targets with client stakeholders at senior levels and manage expectations where relevant.
  • Owning the client relationship end to end within the agency and running video and face to face meetings on a regular basis.
  • Planning, building and managing the highest quality Google/Bing Search, Performance Max, Shopping, YouTube and Display campaigns.
  • Ownership of Google Merchant Centre and META catalogues, planning and executing ongoing development tasks to improve performance in this area. This includes using advanced feed rules.
  • Planning, building and managing the highest quality META, Pinterest and TikTok campaigns.
  • Complex understanding and experience with native platform and 3rd party brand and conversion lift studies, and A/B tests. Ability to communicate results and learnings effectively to highlight performance and measurable impact.
  • Proactively keeping up to date with new developments in paid media and actively researching, testing and proposing new approaches to improve our services.
  • Producing internal and external reports to help demonstrate data in a visual manner which is easy to understand alongside actionable insights and goals to combat issues across all paid media platforms.
  • Commercially focused and a growth mindset, with experience in growing an account with examples.



Team Management

  • Full responsibility for training the junior member of your team
  • Managing one Account Executive providing monthly 1-2-1 meetings and running annual review meetings.


 

Skills/ Experience

  • At least 3 years of working with Google Ads & META
  • Experience managing multiple clients’ Google Ads, Bing Ads & Facebook accounts and using GA4 and Lookerstudio.
  • Working experience in running Google shopping campaigns for retailers and working with Google Merchant Centre, together with CSS experience
  • A firm grasp of Web Analytics (including pixels and tracking), A/B Testing, and metrics-driven (performance) marketing
  • A good understanding of marketing in general (both online and offline approaches) and be able to communicate strategies to clients effectively.
  • Be able to carry out comprehensive conversion rate analysis and ROI tracking for clients’ PPC accounts
  • Be Google Ads qualified
  • Bing Ads qualified
  • META qualified
  • Excellent communication and presentational skills are also required for this role
  • A proven track record in delivering business growth in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
