Do you fancy working with a brilliant team of software engineers dedicated to creating top-notch software, designed by developers for developers?


You’ll be strengthening our capacity to identify and resolve potential performance bottlenecks, and ensure optimal performance across all our systems. You’ll be applying your expertise in black box testing and load testing to ensure our systems are not only robust but also scalable to meet future demands. Additionally you’ll be analysing telemetry data from monitoring platforms to gain deeper insights into operational characteristics of our platforms.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Leveraging APM tools to monitor real-time system performance and preemptively address potential issues.
  • Developing and implementing strategies for system enhancements, focusing on improving performance and reducing latency.
  • Leading efforts in capacity planning to ensure our infrastructure meets current and future operational demands efficiently.
  • Working closely with development, operations, and product teams to align performance goals with business objectives and customer needs.


What you need:

  • Extensive experience in performance testing and optimization, particularly within cloud environments.
  • Hands-on experience APM tools, DataDog preferably.
  • Experience with Python, and Locust for load testing.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and report on findings and recommendations.


Location:

You can work remotely from anywhere on the island of Ireland, with in-person meetings from time to time in Belfast.


Interview process:

3 rounds - 30 min intro chat followed by a technical round. Final culture-fit round at the end.
