Job Title: Development Engineer for Power Electronics and Analogue
Job Description: We are seeking a talented Development Engineer for Power Electronics and Analogue with a focus on Switched Mode Power Supplies to join our client's team, in Hertfordshire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power electronics and analogue design, with a focus on switched-mode power supplies such as DC-DC and AC-DC. The candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have experience in designing, testing, and implementing power electronics systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test power electronics systems with a focus on switched-mode power supplies (DC-DC, AC-DC).
- Analyze and evaluate power electronics systems to identify potential issues and determine solutions.
- Develop and maintain documentation of designs and specifications.
- Collaborate with other engineers and departments for testing and development.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in power electronics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in power electronics and analogue design.
- Experience in designing, testing, and implementing power electronics systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
