Our client is well established within their industry, employing over 5000 people across multiple sites. Renowned for its innovation and quality, this Manchester-based organisation is seeking a motivated and skilled Accounts Receivable Manager to join their Accounting & Finance Department.

Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Supervising routine department activities, such as disbursing checks and processing payroll, to ensure that they are completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintaining accurate and complete financial, employee, and client records.
  • Working with the accounting team to create and manage budgeting processes.
  • Collaborating with the audit team to ensure accurate and timely audit reports.
  • Optimising the accounts receivable process and ensuring timely collection of payments.
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management.
  • Reviewing department processes and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Managing relationships with clients and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Profile

The successful candidate requires:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in a managerial role within the Accounting & Finance Department.
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Proficient in the use of financial software and MS Office.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
