Reporting to the Water Project Management Delivery Lead for the UK your role as Senior Project Manager will involve delivering work with water companies or the Environment Agency in the Midlands area in a consultancy role. However there will be an opportunity for progression between the UK Water Environment Rail or Nuclear sectors.As a Senior Project Manager you will have knowledge and experience in pre- and post-contract management in NEC 3 or NEC 4 ECC form and procurement within the UK water environment rail or nuclear sector. The senior Project Manager will be expected to utilise their major project experience and knowledge to drive efficiencies and effective supply chain engagement and contract management.As Senior Project Manager you will have experience working with Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) and/ or Early Subcontractor Involvement (ESI) in design and build major capital programmes.We will fully support your personal growth and development enabling you access to training courses a path to chartership or help you develop your career to the level you want. We are true believers in personal development and will support you every step of the way.This role will be office-based (4 days in the Midlands 1 day working from home)Role Responsibilities:GeneralNEC3/4 Option A Option C Option E ECC Contract management and administration client sideBudget controlCollaborating with the QS on Payment valuations and certifying monthly payments under ECC and PSC forms of the NEC 4 form of contractActual cost forecasting and Defined Cost determination in collaboration with the QSEstablishing and maintaining productive and collaborative relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholdersEnsure appropriate project management records and commercial records are maintained in line with the contract requirements and oversee any contractual issuesInvestigate and draft contract communications and notices including Early Warning Notices notification of Compensation Events and General Communications in line with best practicePre-Contract ActivitiesConduct initial project scope planning cost estimates and feasibility studiesPreparation of tender documentationEvaluation of tendersIdentify potential risks and develop mitigation strategiesCollaborate with contractors early in he design phasePost-Contract ActivitiesManage and administer construction contractsMonitor project expenditure and manage cash flowLead the evaluation and negotiation of change orders or variationsClaims and dispute resolutionFinal accounts and post-project evaluationQualifications : Bachelors or masters Degree qualification in a numeric degreeFull Membership of a chartered body such as APM at MAPM.A wealth of experience postgraduate in Rail Nuclear Water and/ or Environment.Line Management and recruitment experience of Project Managers or Assistant Project Managers.CDM regulation knowledge and experience.Risk management experienceValid CSCS card with Water Hygiene Card desirable.Main contractor and/or joint venture experience working client sideAn experienced user of the NEC3-4 suite of contracts (A-C-E must have)You must have the right to work in the UKThis role is subject to a client interview and acceptanceYou will be required to be onsite at our client 4 days per week (Midlands)Additional Information : We are committed to our planetIn each project we design engineer and operate we care deeply about the legacy were leaving behind.
