Role OverviewThe Global Payroll Project Manager will be part of the Genus Payroll System Transformation. Your responsibility to the success of this project goes beyond day-to-day tasks. This implementation involves relationship building working knowledge of an payroll systems (preferably a knowledge of iiPay) and accomplishing milestones based on a set program timeline. This role requires partnership with payroll SMEs business/finance partners and vendor partners to accomplish your addition you will use creative and critical thinking skills to ensure your portion of the project is well designed and avoids negative impact to employee payroll because the software is changing. Paramount to this position are strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to navigate complex global payroll systems efficiently. This role plays a critical part in maintaining employee satisfaction and financial accuracy on a global scale.You WillBe accountable for the performance and results of a team within own disciplineAdapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challengesMake decision guided by policies procedures and business plan in consultation with senior leadershipProvide technical guidance to vendors contractors and colleaguesBe required to have in-depth understanding of concepts theories and principles in own discipline and knowledge of other disciplinesManage a team of professionals (direct and indirect) and adapts plans and priorities to meet service and/or operational challengesImpact the level of service and the teams ability to meet quality and timeliness objectivesRequirementsBachelors degree in business Accounting Human Resources or a related field or equivalent work experience3 years of experience in payroll operations5 years of experience in end-to-end payroll operations including multi-state or global payrollStrong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage cross-functional stakeholdersExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProven experience supporting or managing large-scale payroll or system transformation projectsKnowledge of governmental regulations and desire to keep current with future changesBusiness OverviewGenus is an agricultural biotechnology pioneer.
