iO has partnered with an exciting start-up company based near Sheffield that has developed a groundbreaking process for converting methane into hydrogen We on the search for a Process Technician to join the team to support the operation and maintenance of production equipment.
This is a really exciting opportunity to work for a company involved in green energy, and really make a difference in the world After a recent investment, they are now looking to grow.
As the Process Technician, you will support engineers and scientists in the technological development of methane pyrolysis and green energy solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Opportunity to set up and prepare laboratory facilities, instruments, equipment and materials for experiments.
- Quality Assurance and Quality control.
- Perform calibration and maintenance of equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Collect data, measurements, and observations whilst recording and documenting experimental data.
- Follow SOPs and protocols, whilst complying with safety protocols and ensuring compliance is within regulations and guidelines.
You will need:
- 3+ years' experience as a technician in an engineering/lab environment.
- Experience working within a highly regulated industry.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and a safety-focused individual.
- Knowledge of 5S.
- Track record operating PLC control systems.
- Right to work in the UK
In return for this, you will receive a salary of up to £35,000, alongside benefits such as private healthcare, share options scheme, employee assistance program, pension contribution and 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays).
