We are currently seekingLearning Support Assistantsto join our inclusive and learner-focused team. What Youll Do: Provide tailored support to learners with a range of disabilities both in group settings and one-to-one. Assist in the delivery of learning programmes including support with Maths and English. Foster a positive respectful and inclusive learning environment. Work closely with teaching staff and support teams to ensure learners reach their full potential.Essential Requirements: Recent experience in a Further Education (FE) setting. Experience supporting across a range of disabilities. GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade C/Level 2 or willingness to work towards. Relevant subject specialist qualifications or training (e.g. Supporting Teaching and Learning Level 2 CACHE Level 2 SaLT Makaton BSL Moving and Handling). Strong communication and ICT skills. A positive empathetic attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.Desirable: Experience supporting learners with behaviours that challenge. Experience supporting learners in Maths and English. Level 3 Diploma in Education and Training. Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification.
