Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and documenting requirements for a new Point of Sales (POS) solution. This role requires a deep understanding of retail operations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirement Elicitation: Engage with stakeholders, including retail staff, management, and IT teams, to gather detailed requirements for the new POS system.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive requirement documents, including use cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams.
  • Analysis: Analyze business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure the POS solution meets business needs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Facilitate meetings and workshops to ensure all stakeholder requirements are captured and understood.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with IT and development teams to design and validate the POS solution, ensuring it aligns with business objectives.
  • Testing and Validation: Assist in the development of test plans and participate in system testing to ensure the solution meets the specified requirements.
  • Training and Support: Develop training materials and provide training sessions to end-users to ensure smooth adoption of the new POS system.


Experience and skill set required:

  • Extensive experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in requirement gathering and documentation techniques.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and retail operations.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and using JIRA software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with SAP and associated business processes is highly desirable.
