An exciting opportunity to join an established and high-performing Procurement function working for this highly respected non-for-profit organisation based in Essex. The function enjoys high levels of buy-in and support and this role will play a key part in helping the organisation achieve its objectives. There is a need to be in the office 2-3 days per week with an empowering and supportive culture in place.This role will manage a range of indirect procurement categories from end to end. A key part of the role will be to work closely with a range of internal stakeholders providing advice and support to ensure compliance and buy-in to strategic procurement objectives. Additional areas of focus will include: developing and embedding category management strategies; reviewing current contracts to identify risks and cost-saving opportunities; guide stakeholders through the procurement process; undertake market analysis and supplier sourcing; and play a key role in contract management driving long-term supplier relationships.To succeed in this role, experience in public sector procurement is essential with evidence of completing PA23 training highly advantageous.
