Were looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Finance team in soho London on a 6 months fixedterm contract. In the role youll be ensuring accurate and timely processing and payment of supplier invoices for Clear Channel International and youll efficiently manage supplier accounts and queries

About the Role

You will be supporting the wider team with Invoice processing and preparing for payment for CCI supplier accounts ensuring the process runs effectively for payments to be made on time. We need someone that is flexible to work across all suppliers when needed. Youll utilise regular reports to understand current and legacy liabilities.

What youll be doing..

  • Being the first point of contact for supplier and colleague payment enquiries demonstrating a confident and professional approach able to manage own workload with minimal supervision
  • Using multiple banking platforms to perform regular supplier payments
  • Assisting the staff accountant with monthly accruals and forecast submissions
  • Processing invoices against receipted Purchase Orders
  • Registering nonPO invoices and obtaining approval
  • Regular reconciliation of key supplier statements
  • Ensuring incoming emails are actioned daily and managing own workload
  • Actively reviewing and investigating any unpaid items
  • Followingup on aged items/queries to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Utilising available reports and data to promptly process pending invoices.
  • Daily use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 accounting system for transactional postings and supplier account management
  • Ad hoc duties supporting the teams workload whilst they are testing the new system and during the live rollout.

What were looking for..

  • Preferably you will have transactional finance experience
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • An understanding of how and when to account for VAT
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail and great organizational skills
  • Experience of dealing with enquiries from external suppliers
  • Confident and professional communication skills
  • Excellent team player whos happy to help when required
