We require a Vehicle Mot tester to join our clients Aftersales Department at a main dealership in York.This role is predominantly for a Mot tester but will also require you to do the technician role during quiet timesRole and Responsibilities:To undertake Mot's, maintenance, service and repair activities on motor vehicles of all types to the highest standardRepair, test vehicles and diagnose their faultsReplace components, parts, lubricants and consumablesKeep work areas clean and tidy, organisedCarry out work completely and effectivelyAdvise and report on vehicle faults and servicing requirements while working on vehiclesThe ideal candidate will:Have at least 2 years’ recent on the job experience with light vehicle certificationHold a valid MOT CardExcellent work ethic and team memberFull UK driving licenceOwn toolsThe successful applicant will be highly motivated, efficient and organised. This position is within a busy workshop environment, as such you will be provided with a competitive remuneration package depending on experience.Salary of £35,000 for the right candidate or ote of £40,000, as well as industry leading This is a fulltime position includes 30 days’ annual leave, inc bank holidays.
