Compensation: up to £13.00 p/h

Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Food Runner to join our restaurant team. The Food Runner plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of food from the kitchen to guests. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This is a fast-paced role that requires teamwork, organization, and physical stamina.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests' tables in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure that food is presented to guests in an appealing and professional way, following restaurant standards.
• Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure accurate order fulfilment and timing.
• Help maintain food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring food is delivered fresh and at the correct temperature.
• Perform side duties such as restocking supplies, refilling beverages, and helping with basic cleaning tasks as needed.
• Work in coordination with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Physical stamina, including the ability to stand for long periods, carry food trays, and move quickly.
• A positive attitude and willingness to assist others.

Work Schedule:

• Must be available to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
