Cultural fit is of utmost importance to our business and we are happy to support the learning curve of growing into a new role and building a successful career with Lockton.Account Executive Role What is involvedAs an Account Executive your primary role will be to build and maintain excellent working relationships with our clients to ensure that we are providing the best service for all of their insurance needs. This will also include fostering close working relationships with our brokers including supporting them in the market where necessary as well as claims and other experts within the business.You will be responsible for an allocated portfolio of new and existing clients to support their ongoing insurance needs and the renewal process where applicable. This will include supporting strategy meetings with clients preparing market submissions analysing information and looking for opportunities to either enhance existing or provide additional services.Candidate ProfileWhat are the typical responsibilities as an Account ExecutiveBuilding strong partnerships with your allocated portfolio of clientsProactively track client renewal periods premium payments and any lossesAnalyse renewal information to prepare market submissionsProvide client feedback to contribute to client review meetings and renewal strategyPrepare policy documentation including working with in-house wordings experts for any bespoke clause wordingsSupport the claims team on major lossesWhat skills and experience would we like you to haveAs an Account Executive in the UK Construction team it would be desirable for you to:have experience of working on Construction or Property business from a Broking Underwriting or wider Insurance backgroundhave experience of preparing market submissions and policy documentationbe able to work with account handlers who will support you in servicing our client needshave a desire to join a dynamic entrepreneurial team in a growing organisationDue to the nature of the role you will need to be organized and be comfortable communicating with a wide range of clients and colleaguesAbout LocktonLockton is the worlds largest independent insurance broker.What makes Lockton stand apart is also what makes us better; independence.Locktons private ownership empowers its 10750 Associates doing business in over 140 countries to focus solely on clients risk and insurance needs.
