Purpose of the Job:Following the guidance of the Regional Quality team this person will be the driving force in implementing a positive quality and continuous improvement culture to enable the growth maturity and robustness of the certified and integrated management system in their factory location. They will have specific responsibilities as defined below but will also be seen as the customers champion and will control the Quality requirement for the introduction of new products develop structures and analysis to improve existing and future manufacturing Quality outcomes.Key Responsibilities and Outcomes: Ensures the maintenance of an effective management system that meets the requirements of ISO9001 ISO14001 ISO45001 and business needs.Provide Quality overview for team members and provide input into performance evaluationsEnsure that Operations and Quality expectations are translated into requirements that are delivered by the new product introduction processTaking responsibility for Quality KPIs and related RCA/RCCMs including taking the lead by responding directly to non-conformance reports (NCRs) from customersDevelopment and maintenance of online intranet or SharePoint based systems to provide access to Quality documentation.Preparation and maintenance of an easy to use Quality summary/matrix for distribution to customers and external auditors.Ensuring that product certification is up to date and available when required including but not limited to ATEX IECEx PED UL CSA WRAS IEC61508 and CCC Chinese compulsory Certification.Working with 3rd party certification agencies to obtain new/updated certifications and arranging 3rd party testing when requiredSupport engineering and product management in researching certifications required for new products including generation of supporting plans for introduction as requiredOwnership of second and third party audits including closure of findings.Planning scheduling and corrective action follow up of internal audit programme as well as conducting internal auditsProactively communicating with other Rotork Factories or businesses in the resolution of product NCRsInitiation and implementation of corrective actions and continual improvementUses prescribed guidance or policies to analyse and resolve problemsReceives a moderate level of guidance and directionQualifications : Q  Qualifications and technical knowledge:Essential3-5 years experience in a Quality focused roleMinimum technical education Diploma or HNC/HND/Degree in an engineering discipline or relevant experienceComprehensive understanding of Quality standards and their implementation in an engineering/ manufacturing organisation.Customer liaison on product quality issues.Desirable Lead auditor qualificationKnowledge of Pressure and/or Hazardous Area environments and their regulatory quality requirements would be advantageous.Good IT skills (Microsoft Office suite and possibly Microsoft Dynamics 365).Personal specification:EssentialApproachable personality able to motivate and influence people at all levelsAbility to work as part of a team but also able to work aloneAbility to manage several projects at the same timeA positive and flexible approach to working time and travel.A self-motivated professional and confident attitude.The ability to pay attention to detail.   Additional Information : Our purpose is Keeping the World Flowing for Future Generations.For over sixty years the world has relied on us to create the things that keep everything moving.
