If so, we would love to hear from you.About the RoleWe are seeking a knowledgeable, resilient, and highly skilled 1:1 Learning Support Tutor to act as a Key Adult, providing consistent and specialist support to a pupil with complex needs. You will be a trusted attachment figure, championing the pupil’s academic, social, and emotional development.This role requires reliability, emotional stability, and commitment. You will provide personalised support to help the pupil feel safe, regulated, and ready to learn, assisting with academic engagement, emotional wellbeing, daily routines, and structured activities in school and the community.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver tailored academic and social support to the pupilAssist with educational programmes, lesson preparation, and resourcesPromote positive behaviour and social developmentSupervise students in the classroom, during activities, and on community visitsRecord and report on pupil progress, development, and behaviourSupport the implementation of individualised plans and targetsPerson SpecificationPatience, compassion, and a nurturing approachResilience and emotional stabilityCommitment to inclusive education and positive pupil outcomesExperience working with young people, ideally with SEN and challenging behaviourFull UK Driving Licence and willingness to support offsite activitiesSchool Visit EncouragedThis is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a pupil’s life while being part of a supportive, collaborative, and passionate team.
