We're seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Test Analyst to join our Conventional Trust team. This role is located in Manchester - hybrid.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Review project related documentation, in particular Business Requirements/acceptance criteria or User stories, to ensure that tests are valid and can be executed.
- Provide Impact Assessments based on project and testing documentation
- Produce high level test conditions
- Re-write or Create detailed manual test cases/scenarios
- Create and maintain requirements traceability matrices
- Execute test cases/scenarios and record results against expected outcomes using Jira / Zephyr
- Raise, review and retest defects
- Report progress and escalate any issue or blockers.
- Work with other team members to share knowledge and best practice and identify any opportunities for continual process improvement
- ISTQB Qualified - Foundation Level
- Experience working in a Test Analyst role - ideally within a Financial Services organisation
- Strong understanding of fundamental test processes
- Familiar with Jira / Confluence & Zephyr
- Ability to produce test products from business and project related documentation
- Ability to develop effective working relationships and communicate with key stakeholders including test team members, business users, vendors and technology partners
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Able to manage own workload
