We’re Hiring: Junior Cloud Engineer

Are you ready to take your next step into the exciting world of cloud technology? We’re looking for a Junior Cloud Engineer to join our team and help deploy, support, and enhance our cutting-edge software solutions within an AWS cloud infrastructure.

What You’ll Do:

  • Set up and deploy our software using Terraform and Ansible.
  • Triage, review, and escalate customer alerts, incidents, and service requests.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed within agreed SLAs.
  • Create knowledge base troubleshooting articles for recurring issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide exceptional product and service support.
  • Learn and grow your expertise in AWS technologies, working towards Foundation and Associate-level certifications.

Essential Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in frontline technical support or equivalent.
  • Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call support rota.
  • Experience with Linux command-line utilities such as grep, sed, awk, and top.
  • A can-do attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow in the Cloud Operations team.
  • Excellent attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills (written and verbal).

Desirable Skills:

  • Understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Experience with scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
  • Experience in creating knowledge base troubleshooting articles.
