Global Real Estate Manager


Location: Flexible, open to candidates across Europe / EMEA Region

Are you an experienced Global Real Estate Manager with a proven track record in managing complex, multinational portfolios of offices and warehouses? Join my client in a dynamic role that will help shape and optimize the workplace experiences of over 4,500 colleagues across 100 locations worldwide.


Purpose of the Role


As the Global Real Estate Manager, you’ll play a crucial part in delivering exceptional estate, facilities, and project management services across my client’s expansive corporate environment. You’ll be instrumental in executing their vision for enhanced customer experience, consistency, and operational excellence across a newly established real estate function.


Key Responsibilities


Estate Management


  • Support the delivery of the global real estate strategy.
  • Oversee lease management, landlord relations, and implement entry/exit strategies.
  • Monitor conditions, manage exit liabilities, and set ESG targets to enhance company standards.


Facilities Management


  • Oversee day-to-day estate operations, ensuring a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment.
  • Manage service contracts to exacting standards and optimize budget expenditure.


Project Management


  • Lead closure, fit-out, and refurbishment projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
  • Standardize and brand company locations, and ensure lease compliance.


People Management


  • Lead and inspire a team, ensuring continual improvement in skills and knowledge.
  • Foster a collaborative culture focused on best practices and cross-functional partnerships.


Knowledge, Skills, & Experience


  • Proven experience managing large, global real estate portfolios.
  • Qualifications in real estate, H+S, or compliance, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong IT skills, with experience in remote and collaborative work environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience producing detailed estate management reports.
  • Ability to travel as needed and foster strong, trusting relationships.
