Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant


Location: Hybrid - Bristol office

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant to join team, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to projects that assess and mitigate environmental risks for development and regeneration projects.


Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments, including desk studies and ground investigations.

• Assessing soil and groundwater contamination, identifying pollutant linkages, and conducting risk assessments.

• Preparing technical reports, including contamination assessments and remediation strategies.

• Delivering and overseeing projects on time and within budget

• Engaging with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices.

• Contributing to the development of innovative solutions for land contamination and environmental challenges.


What you'll bring:

• A degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in geo-environmental consultancy or contaminated land assessment.

• Knowledge of UK environmental regulations and land contamination guidelines.

• Experience in site investigation techniques, environmental sampling, and data interpretation.

• Strong report writing skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and colleagues.

• A full UK driving licence.
