Legal Counsel – Contract Management FocusLocation: Newcastle (1 day a week in the office).Salary: Up to £65k.We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation. This role is integral to the legal function, providing strategic and operational support across all service lines. You will manage customer contracts, advise on key contractual issues, and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage the customer contracting process across multiple service lines.Review and assess liabilities and contractual risks, providing expert advice to senior leadership.Negotiate terms and conditions with clients and partners.Generate regular and ad-hoc contract reports to monitor active and expiring agreements.Maintain and administer contract-related records in relevant databases.Drive process improvements and participate in training initiatives related to contracting standards.Oversee onboarding and KYC/AML checks for customers and business partners.About YouPrevious experience in a similar legal role, ideally within a commercial or corporate environment.Strong communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships internally and externally.Confident in interacting with multiple stakeholders and managing complex issues.Highly organised, self-motivated, and solutions-focused.Excellent oral and written English skills.Why Join?You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values innovation, excellence, and creativity.
