Shifts: Monday to Friday, start times between 04:00 - 07:00 Rates of pay: Basic: £18.81 per hour Night Out: £25.00 per night Benefits include: Your benefits as a HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver are: Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay Training provided Immediate starts Employee well-being programme Day-to-day duties: As a HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver, your duties will include (but not be limited to): Carrying out deliveries to organisations across the UK. Operating and driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhering to traffic laws and regulations Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo when required Essential skills: To be successful as a HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver, you will need: A valid UK Category CE licence A minimum of 12 months' experience driving CE vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor infringements, with no major endorsement codes A valid UK CPC card and Digi card Good spoken and written English Punctuality and excellent time-keeping skills A solid understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable experience: Previous commercial driving experience Training: Driver's assessment must be completed before starting Contact: If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as aClass 1 Tramper Driver , apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more.
