The Group Commissioning Manager sits within the Service Development Team and is primarily responsible for supporting the Director of Service Development to deliver budgeted revenue growth by driving occupancy across Eden Futures, including existing and new developments. The role will design, lead, and deliver the business’s contact strategy with new and existing stakeholders’ relationships yielding increasing opportunities that focus on continued occupancy growth through developing its direct reports, and the referral marketing strategy for the company.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the Director of Service Development to deliver budgeted revenue growth by driving occupancy across both new and existing services.
  • To design, lead and deliver on the business, contact strategy with key stakeholders, including reviewing the current marketing and processes. This will include leading the strategy across the organization, implementing the strategy, and supporting internal stakeholders to deliver upon this in addition to the Service Development Team.
  • To work alongside the Group Operations Director, Operational Managers, and their direct reports to reduce the mean sales cycle for all referrals. This will also include reviewing the referrals and assessment process with other members of the Service Development Team to identify key blockers to growth in the business.
  • Provide reports and updates as required for Operational, Finance, and other Senior Management at Eden Futures. These will include the status of referrals and projections of forwards movements.
Other Responsibilities and Duties
  • Work collaboratively with Operational Managers to identify opportunities and develop new ways of working which support in driving occupancy across both new and existing services.
  • To oversee the bids and tenders’ processes in relation to EOI’s and Mini-Bids for the regions in which Eden Futures operates.
  • To line manage the Referrals and Assessment Manager and the Commissioner Relationship Managers providing support through each stage of the process to enable them to drive occupancy within their dedicated regions or allocated services. This should include making sure all referrals are uploaded to the relevant CRM System.
  • To ensure the Commissioner Relationship Managers keep the CRM System up to date with all referrals and maintain the relevant trackers as required for each weekly void call.
The Ideal Candidate

   Experience of Working in Social Care in services for those with Learning Disabilities, Autism or Mental Health Needs. 

·       Proven experience as an effective leader of teams.

·       Demonstrable experience in project management and the design, delivery, and leadership of strategies across a Social Care or Health business.

·       Existing Relationships with key stakeholders such as Local Authorities and ICB’s.

·       Excellent Communication, Presentation and Organisation skills.

·       Experience in the assessment of need and the provision of support services. It is not, however, expected that this role will carry out assessments of individuals or be directly involved in that process.

·       Experience and knowledge of working within Commissioning and Funding Processes within Local Authorities and ICB’s.

·       Experience preparing reports for Senior Management Level and presenting these.

·       The ability to work to tight timescales and work effectively under pressure.
