Brook Street are working with a well established, legal organisation in the heart of Swansea who are looking for a legal fee's clerk. This is a full time, permanent opportunity with an attractive salary package and an opportunity to enhance your skill set in a very niche role.The role is offering £28,000/year which is reviewed after 9 months.Responsibilities and DutiesHandling billing processes for legally aided and private fees, including submission of bills/payment on account applications on CCMS (Client and Cost Management System) and processing payments on the LEX systemDaily billing of private fees and sending fee notes and invoices for all new work billedManaging Chamber's fee chasing systems, including proactive chasing and reporting of aged debtProviding prompt follow-up for billing queries and requestsAssisting with other fee-related tasks and projects as needed Experience RequiredExperience in a legal background (essential)Experience in legal billing or finance background (essential)Strong numeracy skills and proficiency in ITExcellent attention to detailEffective communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to collaborate with colleagues, barristers, and clients BenefitsFree parking in the centre of Swansea30 days holiday + bank holidaysCompany pensionCompany Events
