Job Title: EC&I Engineer – Capital Project Delivery (Remote, UK)Contract Type: 12 Months Day Rate: £600–£700/day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)Overview Our client is looking for an EC&I Engineer to support the electrical, control, and instrumentation scope of a major capital project in the chemical manufacturing sector. The role is remote with travel (approx. 25%) to Chilton, Clitheroe and Glasgow.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver EC&I engineering scope in collaboration with EPCM partnersReview and approve designs for DCS systems, ATEX/DSEAR compliance, and functional safetySupport hazard studies, commissioning planning, and technical documentationEnsure alignment with client standards and regulatory requirementsProvide technical leadership and issue resolutionRequirementsDegree-qualified EC&I engineer with chartered status preferred10+ years’ experience in electrical and control systems engineeringExperience with Emerson DeltaV or similar DCS platformsKnowledge of COMAH regulations and high-hazard environmentsStrong communication and problem-solving skills
