About the role


We’re seeking ambitious and dynamic individuals who will shape our strategic direction, bringing the best out of others while upholding the highest standards of governance. What we need from you


• A strong commitment to higher education.

• Relevant experience in fields such as education, community engagement, finance, accountancy and audit, human resources, IT and cyber, commercial enterprise, and health.

• The ability to apply your experience effectively as a University Governor.

• Demonstrable leadership skills, with a track record of supporting strategic organisational change.

• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal skills, and high emotional intelligence.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strategic thinking and a talent for critical information analysis.

• The capacity to provide constructive feedback, challenge, and support.

• The ability to add value and act as an ambassador for the University.
