Our client is a leading international advisory firm and a number 1 brand globally within the wider media sector. They provide corporates and individuals with a full suite of M&A services advising on selling, buying, fundraising, recovery and post deal service and a number of which are cross-border in nature.


THE OPPORTUNITY:

This is a super exciting opportunity to join an entrepreneurial platform as an M&A Analyst within a leading team that has a very healthy pipeline of deals and where you will gain extensive exposure with cross-border deals and be able to develop your career very quickly.

You will be responsible for:

  • Drafting various tailored PowerPoint documents – Information Memorandums, Briefing Packs, Presentations etc with a high level of autonomy
  • Analysis of financial data received from clients including the ability to gather information, identify linkages and trends and apply findings to reports.
  • Liaising with/questioning members of the finance team at clients in a professional manner
  • Preparation of financial models – P&L, Balance sheet and Cashflow
  • Preparation of other financial analysis on excel – being able to create a tailored analysis for any specific situation
  • Managing a due diligence dataroom and responding to due diligence questions.
  • Research into companies and industries
  • Attendance at client meetings and marketing events where required


PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Must have at least 18months of PQE in M&A or Corporate Finance or Transaction Services ideally from a Big 4 Accountancy Firm.
  • ACA qualification is key.
  • Strong financial analytical skills
  • Fully competent with Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset;
  • Interest in the media sector is desirable
