Robert Half Talent Solutions are seeking a Finance Business Partner for a growing organisation in Merthyr TydfilThe commercial accountant will be:Liaising with the senior sales and finance teams to maximise sales and profit opportunities.Liaising with the sales teams on pricing and margin analysis.Work with Purchasing team to improve business processes and ensure financial targets are met. Key focus areas are purchasing processes, commodity forecasts, purchase price variance reportingDeliver accurate financial information to the business in a methodical and timely mannerTo provide senior management with KPIs (financial and non financial) and periodic reports on trading forecasts, budgets and targets, highlighting risks and opportunitiesProviding all purchasing financial information required for the annual Budget and periodic Forecasts and StrategicCoordinate the underlying pricing assumptions for these projectionsCosting of new products being developed through provision of forward looking material prices.To model the impact of input cost changes on profitability.Work closely with supply chain to assess the financial implications of decisions in terms of stockholding, consignment stocks, distribution, write offs and supplier payment terms.Inventory reporting ensuring correct valuation. Change from actual to standard costingWastage analysis and stock depreciation.Salary from £50,000 to £65,000Fully on site but Flexible workingDeath in service 3x salarySubsidised canteenSick pay3% company pension - 5% employee25 days holiday plus birthday day off plus bank holidaysRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
