This is a fantastic opportunity to provide tailored academic support across A-Level subjects while also ensuring students with additional learning needs receive the guidance and encouragement they require to succeed.This position is particularly well-suited to candidates with a Biology background though applicants from all Maths and Science disciplines are welcome to apply.Maths & Science Tutor Role ProfilePart-time position: 4 days per week (Monday Tuesday Wednesday Friday)Supporting Sixth Form students across A-Level Maths and Science subjectsProviding targeted support for students with SEND ensuring inclusive access to the curriculumBased in a supportive and dynamic Sixth Form College environmentMaths & Science Tutor Role SpecificationDegree-level qualification in a Maths or Science-related subject (Biology Chemistry Physics or Mathematics)Strong academic record with the ability to support A-Level students effectivelyAwareness of and/or experience supporting students with SEND (preferred but training will be provided)Previous experience in tutoring mentoring or working with young people (preferred but not essential)Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to inspire engage and adapt support for individual learnersCommitment to helping students reach their academic and personal goalsThis role is ideal for aspiring teachers tutors or graduates looking to gain school-based experience.
