Job Title: Solutions Application Architect

Number of Positions: 4

Location: Northampton (Hybrid - 2 days onsite a week)

Duration: 6 months + extensions

Contract Type: Inside IR35


Job Description:

We are seeking talented Solutions Application Architects to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in application and systems architecture, combined with expertise in engineering innovative digital solutions that align with business goals. You will play a critical role in analyzing requirements, designing secure and scalable systems, and driving digital transformation initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement infrastructure solutions to meet complex business requirements.
  • Perform comprehensive requirements analysis to inform system architecture decisions.
  • Develop and maintain security system data models to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of information.
  • Innovate through strategic thinking and contribute to organizational growth.
  • Lead business process re-engineering (BPR) efforts to optimize efficiency.
  • Drive change and transformation initiatives across various digital and technology landscapes.
  • Collaborate using Scrum methodologies to deliver software development projects on time.
  • Design robust systems architecture to support long-term operational needs.
  • Apply business acumen to bridge technical solutions with organizational goals.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis (CBA) to evaluate the financial impact of architectural decisions.
  • Ensure adherence to IT governance, risk, and controls standards and best practices.


Required Skills and Competencies

  • Proven experience in infrastructure engineering and systems design.
  • Strong understanding of digital and technology frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and support change management initiatives.
  • Expertise in security modeling and data architecture.
  • Familiarity with Scrum/Agile software development practices.
  • Proficiency in conducting cost-benefit analysis and delivering value-driven results.
  • Knowledge of IT governance, risk assessment, and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in application and solutions architecture.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect, Scrum Master) are a plus.
