DescriptionMake a Real Impact as a Science Tutor.Are you a passionate educator making a difference in the lives of students with SEN or SEHM needs We are looking for experienced and dedicated tutors to join our tutor database. Youll provide personalised 1:1 or small group support in Science for Key Stage 3 or GCSE students. These in-person sessions in Westminster offer the chance to work closely with students helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.Hours: FlexibleDay(s): Monday - FridayTime(s): During school hoursSubject and Level: Science KS3 or GCSEWhat Youll DoDeliver up to 15 hours of tutoring per week with sessions split across the school day.Plan engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of each student.Provide targeted support for students with SEN and/or SEMH.Assess barriers to learning and create a positive and supportive learning environmentMonitor progress produce reports and adapt teaching strategies to achieve measurable outcomes.Responsibilities:Develop and deliver tuition programmes in small groups or 1:1Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level.Assessing any barriers to students learning and working to overcome these.Monitoring student progress and producing reports.Creating a positive and supportive learning environment.Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks youre providing subject tuition in.Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager.RequirementsWere looking for someone who has:A Bachelors degree3 years of tutoring / teaching experience.Experience working with students with SEN and/or SEMH needs.An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsThe right to be self employed in the UKBenefitsWhat We Offer:A friendly dynamic team that values collaboration and personal growthThe opportunity to make a difference in the lives of studentsCompetitive hourly rate: 30 - 35 per hour depending on role and experienceAbout Tutors GreenOur mission is to provide first-class tuition primarily for disadvantaged students through discounted and pro-bono services across the UK.
