Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Search Consultancy require an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver to work for our client based in Kirkintilloch Glasgow. This position is on a temp to perm basis working full time hours.Main duties will include:- Operate forklifts to load and unload materials and products- Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse or production facility- Stack and organise products and materials in an efficient and safe manner- Perform routine maintenance on forklifts, such as inspecting for any damages or malfunctions- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment- Assist with inventory management by accurately recording materials and products movedQualifications:- Valid forklift operator certification or license- Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or production- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for forklift operation- Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, safety rules, and operating instructions- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness to manoeuvre the forklift in tight spaces- Physical stamina to withstand long periods of sitting, standing, and operating the forklift- Attention to detail to accurately record inventory information- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team membersPlease note that additional duties may be assigned as needed.To apply send an up-to-date CVJob Types: Full-time, Temp to permSalary: £14.41-£19.71 per hourSchedule:12 hour shiftDay shiftNight shiftWeekend availabilitySearch is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age
