This is a pivotal role that directly impacts the readiness of the Royal Navy fleet, helping to keep our nation secure and future ready.Day-to-day, you’ll oversee a large industrial and non-industrial workforce, drive cultural change, and influence senior stakeholders at the highest level.Leading integrated delivery teams across Project Management, Engineering, SHEQ, Commercial and Supply ChainActing as the primary interface with executive level stakeholders and strategic partnersDriving continuous improvement and business transformation initiativesChampioning a safety-first culture and meeting contractual HSSE obligationsAchieving or exceeding financial targets including revenue, margin, and cash flowThis role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard. Travel to Rosyth, Fife will be required once a month as you’ll be managing a team there.Essential Experience Of The Programme Delivery DirectorProven track record delivering major programmes within highly regulated sectors (defence, aviation, automotive)Extensive leadership experience in industrial environments, managing large multidisciplinary teamsExpertise in guiding projects from bid through delivery to close-outProven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, influencing at executive level to drive strategic outcomesDeep knowledge of project controls, risk, cost management, and supply chain performanceQualifications For The Programme Delivery DirectorBachelor’s degree in engineering, asset management, or equivalent discipline (or demonstrable experience)APM Chartered (ChPP) or willingness to obtain within 12 monthsSecurity ClearanceThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
