400kV SAP needed for a Major Offshore Wind project in the United Kingdom. Responsibilities: Implement and ensure compliance with Electrical Safety Rules on site. Act as Senior Authorised Person for HV/MV/LV systems. Plan, manage, prepare, and execute electrical works offshore. Provide operational advice on high-voltage installations including WTG, offshore substations, and HV cables. Oversee safe commissioning of grid connections, substations, and associated MV/HV/LV equipment. Ensure safety, security, and integrity of the HV network. Coordinate MV/HV/LV commissioning activities during all construction phases. Take operational responsibility for an entire offshore substation. Manage outage planning and network control in collaboration with Control Engineers. Prepare, review, and check high-voltage switching schedules. Update MV/HV/LV schematic diagrams and ensure documentation accuracy. Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and worksite assessments for electrical matters. Coordinate with project management to communicate accurate progress updates. Manage and coordinate HV/MV/LV commissioning activities across the project. Liaise with external grid operators and participate in commissioning panel meetings. Review method statements relating to electrical tasks.
