Maintenance Fitter

We have an exciting role for a Maintenance Fitter to join our client in East Lothian on a permanent basis. They are a growing, dynamic and innovative organisation with ambitious growth plans. In this role you will report to the Maintenance Manager and will work closely with the existing maintenance team to maintain the plant, ensure plant downtime is minimised and plant throughput maximised. You will have many responsibilities, some will include: Respond to plant downtime to ensure that the plant can maximise throughputResponsible for repairing and replacing damaged equipmentUtilise IT systems to record work completedInterrogate, fault find and resolve any problems that are shown on the company's equipmentActive participation in and close out of assigned tasks associated with summer & winter overhauls to ensure all plant equipment is maintained and repaired as requiredActive participation and meaningful engagement in continuous improvement activities and meetingsRepair and overhaul of all plant & equipment as requiredCompletion of work permits as required and adherence to health and safety standardsBuild and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels to ensure alignment with business goals and objectivesParticipation in special projects as required Ou...
