DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Attendance of pre-contract meetings * Preparation and valuation of interim applications and final accounts * Identification and notification of variations * Administration of sub-contracts and sub-sub-contracts including issue of required Notices under the contracts * Negotiation of subcontracts and sub-sub-contracts * Preparation of payments for sub-sub-contractors * Negotiation and resolution of contractual disputes * Cash flow forecasting * Assessing and managing credit risks * Monthly WIP reports for accounts specifying and making provisions for any known/potential risks * Support the on-going development of the company position in its key sectors * Ensure compliance with the Company’s policies including Health & Safety * Observe and comply with all good working practices.QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, ATTRIBUTESEssential: * Good knowledge of construction contract law * Experience in contract negotiation * Experience of administration of contracts and sub-contracts * Claims and dispute resolution skills and proven record * Excellent communication skills - both oral and written * Commercially aware * Time management and organisation skills * Good computer skills with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office in particularly Excel * Ability to work on own initiative, but understand level of responsibility within the team * Hold a valid driving licenseDesirable: * BSc (Hons 2.1) in Quantity Surveying (or similar) * Previous experience of working in the Precast Concrete sector * Hold a current CSCS card
