Azenta is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team in Wotton, Surrey. This is a permanent, onsite role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and brings strong problem solving capabilities, including proficiency in tools such as 5 Whys and Fishbone Diagrams. The Role As Quality Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all products meet our stringent quality standards. You will resolve quality issues raised within the Quality Management System, support new product introductions, and drive defect prevention initiatives. Working both independently and collaboratively, you will contribute to continuous improvement while maintaining high customer satisfaction and minimizing quality-related costs. What You'll be Doing Manage customer raised product quality issues, identify root causes, and implement permanent corrective actions. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues efficiently, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Lead and facilitate problem-solving sessions using tools such as: 8D Methodology / 5 Whys / Fishbone Diagrams / FMEA / SPC Work closely with cross-functional teams (Production, Engineering, Supply Chain) to enhance product quality and optimize processes.
