This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining the highest standards in welding and fabrication.The RoleOversee all welding activities, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and specifications.Develop and manage welding procedures, specifications, and quality control plans.Conduct inspections and ensure that all work is delivered to the highest quality.Provide technical support and guidance to welders and fabricators.Maintain all necessary documentation, including WPSs and welder qualifications.Promote and enforce health and safety best practices at all times.What You'll NeedRecognised qualifications as a Responsible Welding Coordinator (RWC).Demonstrable experience in welding coordination, ideally within structural steel, shipbuilding, or fabrication sectors.Comprehensive knowledge of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, MMA, FCAW) and materials.Familiarity with standards such as ISO 9606 and EN 1090.Excellent organisational and communication skills.A meticulous approach to quality assurance and safety.What's on OfferCompetitive pay rate of £20 per hour.Opportunity to contribute to a range of challenging and rewarding projects.A chance to further develop your skills and career in welding coordination.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Welding Coordinator to bring their expertise to a rewarding role within the Hampshire area
