Junior Buyer – Engineering/Manufacturing

Hinckley – 5 days on site

£25-28k per annum

Are you interested in a career within purchasing? Would you like to work somewhere with a path for progression?

A manufacturing business in Hinckley is looking for a Junior Buyer to join their team. You will be supporting the wider Buying team in ensuring raw materials, components, indirects and any third-party services are available and obtained at best price.

Day to day you’ll be responsible for:

  • Placing purchase orders
  • Ensuring accurate stock levels
  • Managing the MRP system.
  • Work towards supplier OTIF and contribute to improving overall supplier performance.

Experience required:

  • Exposure/understanding of purchasing processes
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • MS Excel – Intermediate/Advanced

You’ll need to have strong attention to detail and be methodical in your approach.
