The Role

The Business Management degree introduces students to key aspects of business, enabling them to gain theoretical knowledge and develop practical, analytical and critical thinking skills. We are seeking a Course Director in Business Management to join our talented team, who is able to lead on the programme. The role will require you to manage a team, proactively put teaching plans in place, deliver and assess students’ work and progress.

The role relies on creating holistic approaches to teaching and learning within a business specialist area, ensuring that the experiences delivered will progress and retain students.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate

As the Course Director, you will be qualified to a degree level, and have extensive experience of leading and motivating a team of staff. You will have a great track record of teaching, developing curriculum and ensuring quality processes are effectively followed. You will work collaboratively with fellow Course Directors and the Academic Deans to achieve LCCA’s business objectives. The role-holder will also be expected to teach students in Business and contribute to extra-curricular activities.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrable teaching record of innovation and success in the classroom across all levels, programme design, creation of teaching materials and discipline expertise. Strong industry links that will enhance the blended nature of delivering on the Business Management course are essential.
