Overview:

Mane Contract Services is seeking a motivated and experienced Electrical Field Engineer to join a dynamic team delivering high-quality results on large-scale industrial projects. The ideal candidate will hold a Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services and possess the initiative and skills to manage their workload effectively, ensuring project deadlines are met.

This role requires exceptional time management, prioritisation, and communication skills, as well as a proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and manage technical submittals and builders work drawings.
  • Develop and update scheduling and tracking tools for the project.
  • Create and maintain accurate record drawings, design drawings, and O&M Manuals.
  • Process requisitions, generate purchase orders, and coordinate timely delivery of materials to site.
  • Liaise with suppliers to negotiate cost-effective pricing for materials and services.
  • Organise and review draft contracts and quotes.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular reviews of project documentation, drawings, and calculations.
  • Coordinate alterations to working drawings as required by the project.
  • Drive project profitability, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Assist in all other duties as required to support the successful delivery of the project.
Skills and Experience Required:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer, ideally within construction or large-scale projects.
  • Proven experience in project coordination and management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • A self-starter who can work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • A solid background in construction is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and drive the successful delivery of large-scale projects.
