Paraplanner Vacancy: £35k - £50k, Boutique IFA firm - Dorking/Reigate (Surrey)

My client are am independent wealth planning firm near Dorking/Reigate who offer whole of market financial advice to HNW retirees, accumulators, local families and SME owners based across Surrey, Sussex, Kent and London. In their current setup they manage the affairs of 300 clients with assets ranging from £100k - £1m with £500k being their average case.

The business offers advice on pensions, investments, tax planning, cashflow modelling, retirement planning, protections (both personal and business) and some esoteric schemes such as VTC & EIS schemes. They have a big emphasis on intergenerational wealth planning and work with every level of a family to ensure their financial legacy is kept in tact. They generate new business organically through recommendation and referral as well as working with professional introducers.

The business places exceptional client service and satisfaction at the top of their priorities with a very high rate of client retention with some relations stretching back over 10 years. The business is very community orientated and they value the personalised service they provide their clients who are all local people. The Advisers are supported by a highly experienced team of pooled Administrators & Paraplanners who are actively encouraged to progress and develop as both professionals and individuals via ongoing CPD and industry exams.

The Managing Director is creating a brand-new role for a Paraplanner to be based in the office 4 days a week supporting a team of Senior Financial Advisers. You will occasionally attend meetings with the Advisers and be their "go-to-person" for report writing. You will be doing research, analysis and all preparatory work before the Advisers meet their clients for exploratory meetings or annual reviews. This role will suit a candidate who is Level 4 qualified or is on their way to obtaining this. Cultural fit will be vital for my client so a good attitude, a willingness to learn and contribute to a growing business will be key.
