Description

Reporting to the Head of SDVM and dotted line to the Director, we are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior 3D Designer to join our growing store design and visual merchandising global team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in 3D modeling, texturing, rendering, and retail animation, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling.

What Will You Do?
  • 3D Modelling and Design: Create detailed 3D models of retail and event environments, products, and other assets using industry-standard software (e.g. SolidWorks, KeyShot, Rhino).
  • Texturing and Shading: Apply realistic textures and materials to 3D models, ensuring high-quality results in both stylized and photorealistic environments.
  • Lighting and Rendering: Set up lighting, camera angles, and rendering parameters to produce high-quality stills and animations for presentations to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as art direction / creative designers, marketing directors to ensure design consistency and achieve project objectives.
  • Quality Control: Review and refine 3D designs to ensure they meet the highest quality standards, and manage revisions based on feedback from SDVM director and other stakeholders.
  • Innovation and Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, competition, and apply them to keep projects fresh and innovative.
  • Time Management: Contribute to project planning to ensure timely delivery of designs and changing priorities.
The Perfect Candidate:
  • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in 3D design, with a portfolio demonstrating a range of skills in modelling and rendering of retail space visualisation.
  • Software Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of industry-standard 3D design software such as SolidWorks, Rhino, KeyShot, Cinema 4D, or similar. Familiarity with Photoshop is a plus.
  • Strong Understanding of Design Principles: A solid grasp of composition, lighting, texture mapping, and visual storytelling.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to produce high-quality 3D visuals with precision and an eye for detail, including assets, textures, and copy.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex design challenges and find innovative solutions to meet project goals.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain design concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work in a collaborative environment, providing feedback and incorporating feedback into your designs.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your 3D design skills across a range of projects (e.g., retail / event animation, architectural visualization).
