Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Site Supervisor/Build Leader/Line Leader to oversee the installation of automotive robotic cells into a car plant in Liverpool. This is a critical role within our project team, responsible for ensuring the successful execution of the installation project. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working on automotive bodyshop installations and a strong understanding of project management principles.


Responsibilities:

  1. Project Oversight: Lead and coordinate the installation of automotive robotic cells within the car plant, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality standards.
  2. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of technicians and subcontractors involved in the installation process, providing guidance, support, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  3. Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations and best practices on-site, conducting regular safety inspections and ensuring all personnel are trained and equipped to work safely.
  4. Quality Assurance: Maintain a high standard of workmanship and ensure all installations meet or exceed quality standards and specifications set forth by the client and project requirements.
  5. Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between the project team, client representatives, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and resolving conflicts as needed.
  6. Resource Management: Coordinate the allocation of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
  7. Problem-solving: Identify and address any issues or obstacles that may arise during the installation process, implementing timely and effective solutions to keep the project on track.

Requirements:

  1. Prior experience working on automotive bodyshop installations, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
  2. Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders.
  4. Proven leadership ability, with the capability to motivate and manage a team to achieve project goals.
  5. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices within the automotive industry.
  6. Flexibility to work flexible hours and travel as required to meet project deadlines.
  7. Relevant certifications or qualifications in project management, construction, or a related field preferred.
