We’re looking for a Department Manager to lead our Tamar Packing team across four shift patterns. This is a pivotal role with 24/7 responsibility for delivering safe, high-quality, and cost-effective manufacturing processes while fostering a positive and high-performing team culture.Lead and develop Packing Area Managers, setting clear, stretching goals and ensuring robust performance management.Own all people processes including recruitment, training, succession planning, and employee engagement.Ensure quality standards are consistently met through effective audit management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.Drive cost optimisation through budget control, KPI recovery plans, and equipment damage investigations.Champion a culture of safety and continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with HSE standards and promoting zero-accident behaviours.The Ideal CandidateWe believe that success is built upon collaboration and diverse perspectives.
