As part of this transition, procurement processes, tools, and governance structures are being integrated into the wider group. To support this journey, they are seeking an Procurement Category Buyer to help align processes, manage supplier relationships, and embed new ways of working across the organisation.THE PROCUREMENT CATEGORY BUYER ROLEAs an Indirect Procurement Integration Specialist, you will play a key role in harmonising procurement processes following the transition of the Belfast site into the wider business. You will work across sourcing, supplier management, change adoption, and compliance to ensure a smooth and efficient integration.Key responsibilities include:Ensuring procurement compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory standardsBuilding strong transnational relationships with the General Procurement organisationActing as the link between suppliers and Airbus teams to ensure a unified approachEnsuring suppliers adhere to contractual obligations, including non-quality and delivery performanceManaging supplier contracts and leading regular business reviewsExecuting competitive tenders (CFTs), approving requisitions, and ensuring on-time deliverySupporting and driving change management activities linked to new procurement tools and processesCommunicating change effectively, delivering training, and monitoring integration progressSupporting internal stakeholders and managing escalationsAble to travel as requiredPROCUREMENT CATEGORY BUYER – ESSENTIAL SKILLSProcurement experience, ideally within Indirect ProcurementStrong stakeholder management and influencing abilityExperience working in multi-functional, multi-divisional environmentsDemonstrated change management capabilityStrong communication and negotiation skills, including senior-level engagementStrong commercial, contractual, and financial understandingFluent/negotiation-level EnglishAbility to work independently and collaboratively in complex environmentsStrong networking skillsDesirable Skills:Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related disciplineCIPS or equivalent procurement certificationExperience in mergers, acquisitions, or post-acquisition integrationExperience using SAP, Coupa or similar procurement systemsTO BE CONSIDEREDPlease either apply through this advert or email me directly via ryan.baker@searchability.com.
