About the Role

Our school are seeking a motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support the educational developmental needs of students in Greenwich. This role offers the chance to collaborate with teachers and contribute to creating an engaging learning environment. You will play a pivotal role in supporting children academically, emotionally, and socially, helping them thrive in their education journey.

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will take on responsibilities such as leading small group sessions, assisting in lesson planning, and ensuring students receive tailored support to meet their individual needs.



Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality support to enhance children's education, fostering a love for learning.
  • Lead small groups or whole-class activities in line with lesson plans.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to create a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Monitor and record students' progress, sharing insights with teachers and parents.
  • Uphold the school's commitment to safeguarding and promoting well-being.


Requirements

  • A relevant qualification or experience in a Higher Level Teaching Assistant role.
  • A solid understanding of the curriculum and child development.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
